Cronuts in Hyde Park Village
Sunday, 23 June 2013 00:00
Do you like croissants? Do you like doughnuts even more? Well, if you answered “Yes!” to both of these questions, you are going to want to keep reading. A “cronut” is a trademarked name for half a croissant and half doughnut. The cronut was invented by a Manhattan baker named Dominique Ansel and has been a hit in New York. However this pastry is not exclusively found in New York, you can go try one at Piquant in Hyde Park Village.
Ricardo Castro, co-owner of Piquant said that they have been selling these hybrid treats for a few weeks and it seems like the Tampa market is responding well. Don’t wait and go get one today! Treat yourself, it is Monday and you deserve it!
